Tadawwul is an independent broker comparison platform for the MENA region. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit the Site or create an account.
2. Data We Collect
- Account data: email address and display name when you sign up.
- Contact data: name, email and message when you use the contact form.
- Usage data: pages viewed, device type, approximate location and referrer, collected via standard server logs and (where enabled) analytics cookies.
- Cookies: essential cookies for authentication, plus optional analytics cookies.
3. How We Use Data
- To operate the Site and authenticate your account.
- To respond to contact-form enquiries.
- To measure traffic and improve content quality.
- To detect abuse and protect the Site.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Affiliate Tracking
When you click an outbound broker link, the broker may set cookies or receive a referral identifier that allows them to attribute your signup to Tadawwul. We do not share your name or email with brokers.
5. Legal Basis (GDPR / UAE PDPL)
We process data under (a) your consent (e.g. account creation, analytics cookies), (b) our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Site, and (c) legal obligations where applicable.
6. Data Sharing
We share data only with service providers required to operate the Site (hosting, database, email, analytics). All providers are bound by confidentiality and data-processing agreements.
7. Data Retention
Account data is retained until you delete your account. Contact-form messages are retained for up to 24 months. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.
8. Your Rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us via the contact page.
9. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, with role-based access controls on our database.
10. Children
Tadawwul is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
